Neil Armstrong - Little People Big Dreams
Neil is two years old when he goes to an air show with his father. He is so thrilled by the spectacle that he only has one wish afterwards: he wants to fly himself. At first he sent model airplanes into the air, but at the age of sixteen he acquired his flying license. He studied aircraft construction, became a pilot in the US Navy and flew missions in the Korean War. When NASA was looking for test pilots, he applied. And makes history as an astronaut and commander of Apollo 11. On July 24, 1969, he became the first person in the world to set foot on the surface of the moon.
